Abstract

The purpose of this study aims to analyze the prospects for bankruptcy of Islamic insurance companies on tabarru funds' and investment in Islamic insurance companies in Indonesia and Malaysia using the Altman Z"-Score method. Based on the results of research, the five of Islamic insurance companies in Indonesia there are three companies that are predicted not to go bankrupt and two other companies predicted in the gray zone and predicted to go bankrupt. Four Islamic insurance companies in Malaysia, the sample of all Islamic insurance companies is predicted to be in gray zone and predicted to go bankrupt. Based on the test results stated that the results of Altman Z "-Score does not cause fluctuations in the amount of tabarru funds and investment in Islamic insurance companies in Indonesia and Malaysia. Based on the results of the test it was found that Malaysia had an average Z "score, Dana Tabarru’ and investment was lower than the average owned by Indonesia and the difference was a significant difference.
