Abstract
Termite Coptotermes curvignathus generally can be found in plantation area and forest. Termite decomposes organic material into inorganic compounds. However the existence of termite in plantation area can be the reason for losing of oil palm for about 50-100%. This research aimed to examine formulation of Bacillus thuringiensis with multiplication liquid media of cow bio urine with additions of molase, which is the result of liquid waste of termite C. curvignathus (Isoptera : Rhinotermitidae). Isolates of B. thuringiensis spread out for Nutrient Agar (NA). A media is used in this research that us cow bio urine and molase. The treatment consists of 1) bio urine 2) bio urine + molase 3) Nutrient Broth (NB). The highest average results is of spore multiplication with liquid media obtained 72 hours after application for the treatment of Nutrient Broth with average 6,85 x 106 spore/ml while the lowest average results of spore density is bio urine only treatment with average 6,63 x 106 spore/ml. Average of mortality of each treatment is not significantly different between each treatment, except for control treatment. The lowest LT50 value is Nutrient Broth treatment. Symptoms of termite that attacked by B. thuringiensis then it begins with the changing of its body colors. It changes to be dark brown with swollen abdomen then termite body is soft when it is touched. The Highest percentage of termite mortality is Nutrient Broth treatment, it is followed by bio urine treatment with additions of molase and for the lowest average is control treatment. Postulat koch treatment results from insect is infected by B. thuringiensis bacteria that can be shown by gram positive bacteria colony with round shaped and white color. After giving spore coloration and observing with microscope can be seen as basil shaped and purple color
