Abstract

Survival analysis is one of the topics in the field of mathematics which deals with statistical analysis of the time until the occurrence of one or more a particular event. The purposes of this study are to obtain the survival model and to estimate the parameters of the type I censored data which log-logistic distributed. Maximum likelihood estimate was used to estimate the unknown parameters. Based on the results and discussion, if the exact values of the parameters \ensuremathγ and \ensuremathβ are analytically difficult to obtain, then the numerical approach by the Newton-Rhapson iteration can be used to approach the values of both parameters.
