Abstract

This study aims to evaluate planning and budgeting at the Palembang Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency. The results showed that the process of preparing the Regional Development Planning Agency's Budget, Research and Development used a bottom up Plannig approach, management capacity in preparation and budgeting was quite optimal but there were still weaknesses namely lack of coordination between subdivisions and subfields, the level of consistency in budget planning documents high and in accordance with Domestic Government Regulation No. 86 of 2017, but the absorption of financial realizations is still not optimal.
