Abstract

This research was conducted to evaluate the growth and yield of shallot var. Tajuk under various dosages of nitrogen fertilizer. The treatments of N₀ = 100% of Soil (control), N₁ = 200 kh haˉ¹ of Urea fertilizer (0,46 g N/plant), N₂ = 250 kg haˉ¹ of Urea fertilizer (0,57 g N/plant), N₃ = 300 kg haˉ¹ of Urea fertilizer (0,69 g N/plant), and N₄ = 350 kg haˉ¹ of Urea fertilizer (0,80 g N/plant). The observed parameters included height plant, leaf number, tiller number, bulb diameter, bulb fresh weight, bulb dry weight, net assimilation rate and relative growth rate. The research treatment had insignificant effect on plat growth parameters, such as plant height, leaf number, and tiller number, and also on yield parameter, including bulb diameter, bulb fresh and dry weight. The treatment showed very significant effect on net assimilation rate and relative growth rate, indicating that else these two parameters linierly related to N treatment signifivantly.
