Abstract

This thesis is titled "Ambassadors in Kayuagung Community in 2010-2016". The problem taken by the author is how the history or background of the emergence of Ambassadors in Kayuagung, how the robbery process carried out by the Ambassador of Kayuagung abroad, how the process of distributing the robberies they got, and how the lives of the Kayuagung Ambassadors in their home environment. There was also the purpose of this research, to find out the background of the emergence of Ambassadors in Kayuagung, to find out the share of the proceeds from the robbery, to find out how the robbery they had done, and to find out the life of Ambassador in Kayuagung. Even though the work of the Ambassador is detached from crime and life is at stake, it does not reduce the intention of young people in Kayuagung to continue working as Ambassadors, this is marked by income earned from being an Ambassador very far from income from conventional work. However, for a handful of people who have been counted in many times in this world of Ambassadors, for them to become Ambassadors is a choice that must be chosen because it follows cultural developments in the area of Kayuagung. Previously, to go abroad in the 60s they still used fishing boats to reach their destination countries and certainly had enough time. Keywords: Crime, Economy, Employment.
