Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of financial compensation on the performance of public works and spatial planning officials in Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency. The population in this study were all employees of public works and spatial planning officials in Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency, as many as 49 people. This research uses the saturated or cencus side method that means using all members of it’s population. This study uses primary data that obtained through questionnaire data and simple linear regression analysis methods as data analysis techniques. The data were processed using SPSS version 23 with a significance value of .000. smaller than .005. The result of this study indicate that financial compensation (X) has an effect of 30.8% on performance (Y). While the remaining 69.2% of the work variables are influenced by other variables not include in this research model such as motivation, work environtment, training and education.
