Abstract

This research aimed to examine the infuence ROE and NPM on Stock Price with used DER as an intervening variable of sector property and real estate companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this study were obtained from secondary data in the form of annual financial statements of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2014-2018 period.The samples that meet the criteria are 45 companies taken with purposive sampling technique. This research used path analysis technique. The results showed that ROE has negative significant influenceon DER, ROE has positive significant influence on stock prices, NPM has positive signifficant influence on DER, NPM and DER have positive insignifficant influence on stock prices, DER is influential on NPM to Stock price and DER is not influential on ROE to Stock Price. Theoretical implications in this study are ROE and NPM directly affect DER, ROE affect stock prices while NPM and DER have no effect on stock prices. Practical implications in this study can be used for investors as a guide for investing and for companies as a guide for providing information for potential investors.
