Abstract

ABSTRAK Terbentuknya kualitas hidup yang baik tidak lepas dari faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kualitas hidup tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kualitas hidup keluarga yang merawat pasien kanker serviks di RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif korelatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan tekhnik simple random sampling yaiu sebanyak 48 responden yang merawat pasien dengan kanker serviks. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menyebar kuesioner. Uji yang dilakukan adalah Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara usia pasien, palliative performance scale, usia responden, jenis kelamin, agama, status perkawinan, hubungan responden dengan pasien, status pekerjaan, fungsi keluarga dan pendapatan keluarga terhadap kualitas hidup keluarga dengan p-value <0,05, kecuali dengan variabel pendidikan p-value >0,05. Keluarga yang memiliki kualitas hidup yang baik akan dapat memberikan bantuan pelayanan kesehatan yang optimal kepada pasien. Perawat dapat memberikan pendidikan kesehatan pada keluarga untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup keluarga yang merawat pasien kanker serviks. Kata kunci : kualitas hidup, kanker serviks, keluarga.
