Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh mekanisme good corporate governance dan beban pajak tangguhan terhadap manajemen laba studi kasus pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2013-2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan beban pajak tangguhan dan mekanisme good corporate governance berupa kepemilikan manajerial, ukuran direksi, proporsi dewan komisaris independen sebagai variabel independen dan manajamen laba sebagai variabel dependen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dari bursa efek Indonesia sebanyak 25 perusahaan manufaktur melalui teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, menunjukkan bahwa beban pajak tangguhan dan proporsi dewan komisaris independen tidak berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba, sedangkan kepemilikan manajerial berpengaruh negatif terhadap manajemen laba dan terakhir ukuran direksi berpengaruh positif terhadap manajemen laba.
