Abstract

Abstract he purpose of this study is to (1) Analyze farmer assessment of the role that has been carried out by KUD Serasan Jaya in efforts to increase farmers' income and quality of bokar, (2) Analyze differences in quality of bokar produced by TPK Suka Menang farmers after joining KUD Serasan Jaya, and (3) Calculate how much the marketing profit margin is for farmers. This research activity has been carried out from January to December 2017 in Suka Menang Village, Gelumbang District, Muara Enim Regency. The selection of research locations is done deliberately (purposive). The method used in this study is a survey method with a questionnaire. For data collection methods consisting of primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained by direct interviews with farmers with the help of questionnaires. Secondary data were obtained from related institutions as well as some library materials that support and relate to research. The results of this study indicate that the role of the Serasan Jaya Village Unit Cooperative (KUD) in improving the opinions and quality of farmers' bokar seen from the role that has been implemented is considered good. Based on the results of the analysis showed that the income of farmers who joined the Serasan Jaya KUD was considered high, and the quality of bokar produced by farmers was quite good.
