Abstract

Bacillus thuringiensis is used as a biopesticide in agriculture. It is safe for human health and environmentally friendly. Application of B. thuringiensis is influenced by temperature. The purpose of the research was to investigase the impact of temperature toward spores density of B. thuringiensis-based bioinsecticide propagated on biourine enriched with molasses. Temperature was set to 25°C and 34°C. B. thuringiensis isolated used were 5 isolated. The results showed in the application of temperature the average of spora density among isolates were not significantly different. The spore density of LK isolates was 13.08 x 1012 spores/mL, isolates of MSP 15.18 x 1012 spores/mL, Isolate KJ3R5 8.66 x 1012 spores/mL, isolates KJ3P1 6.06 x 1012 spores/mL and TPP 5.96 x 1012 spores/mL. It can be concluded that spore density based on temperature factors, treatment temperature of 25°C and 34°C were not significantly different. Keywords: Bacillus thuringiensis, Bioinsecticide, Biourin. Bacillus thuringiensis digunakan sebagai bahan baku pestisida yang baik dalam pertanian dan aman terhadap kesehatan serta ramah lingkungan. Dalam aplikasi dilapangan dipengaruhi oleh faktor temperatur. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kerapatan spora bioinsektisida B. thuringiensis pada perlakuan suhu 25°C dan 34°C. Sejumlah lima isolat B. thuringiensis dibuat bioinsektisida, kemudian diberi perlakuan suhu 25°C dan suhu 34°C. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata kerapatan spora pada hari ke-7 isolat LK 13,08 x 1012 spora/mL, isolat MSP 15,18 x 1012 spora/mL, Isolat KJ3R5 8,66 x 1012 spora/mL, isolat KJ3P1 6,06 x 1012 spora/mL dan TPP 5,96 x 1012 spora/mL. Dapat disimpulkan kerapatan spora berdasarkan faktor suhu, perlakuan suhu 25°C dan 34°C berbeda tidak nyata. Kata Kunci: Bacillus thuringiensis, Bioinsektisida, Biourin
