Abstract

The aimed of this research to identify composition of plant that growing in the former Sengir tin mining village in the 3 years, 6 years , and 15 years after mining done. Research carried out in august 2019. This research used descriptive survey or a description about vegetation that growth in the former Sengir tin mining village. A method for the sample used line transect method with the result show that there are 14 kinds plants and consist of 7 tribes that found, on the three research areas consisting of Poaceae, Fabaceae, Melastomataceae, Gleicheniaceae, Cyperaceae, The Selaginellaceae and Asteraceae. The kind of that plants Imperata cylindrica (L.& Beauv.), Sporobolus sp., Panicum sp., Cynodon sp., Paspalum conjugatum, Mimosa pudica, Acacia mangium, Melastoma malabathricum, Gleichenia linearis, Cyperus sp., Scleria sumatrensis, Kyllinga monocephala (Rottb.), Selaginella willdenowii, Eupatorium riparium. The highest important value index obtained fabaceae plant that kind of Mimosa pudica 66.87 %. The result of this research is expected can be used as a source of learning in Biology For 10th grade High School 2013 curriculum in basic competence 3.11 to analyzed environmental changes and cause data, and impact of changes for plant.
