Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between eye-hand coordination and wrist flexion with the results of badminton short service. This type of research is correlation or correlation research. The independent variable in this study was eye-hand coordination and wrist flexion, while the dependent variable in this study was short service badminton. The population of this study was 30 people. Data collection techniques for measuring hand-eye coordination using baseball catching throwing techniques. To measure wrist flexion using the goniometer ruler, and to measure short badminton service using the accuracy of short service punches. Based on the results of the discussion it can be concluded that the three variables have a significant value of less than 0.05 (significant value <0.05). Double correlation (R) between the independent variable and the dependent variable has a significant relationship because Fcount (-37.69) <Ftable (-27.8). So it can be concluded that jointly between eye hand coordination and wrist flexion with the results of badminton short service at 18 State Junior High School Palembang students contribute very strongly, thus if students have good eye-hand coordination and wrist flexibility then it will provide also a good contribution to the results of badminton short service.
