Abstract

ENRISKI EFRATA.Dampak Penyinaran UV C Pada Bioinsektisida Dari Jamur Entomopatogen Asal Tanah Rawa Lebak Terhadap Efektivitasnya Pada Larva Spodoptera Litura (Supervised by SITI HERLINDA). Spodoptera litura is a polyphagic caterpillar that is everything-eating Chili is one of the plants with high economic value. Chili plants are also very widely planted in Indonesia. There are many pests that commonly attack chili plants, one of which is the armyworm (Spodoptera litura). Spodoptera litura is a polyphagic caterpillar that is everything-eating insects both from different orders and plant families. S. lititura is a pest of chili which is one of the factors that can reduce crop yields. In controlling S. litura larvae, Bioinsektisidainsecticides can be used with active ingredients entomopathogenic fungi that can kill S. litura larvae. Therefore, this study aims to determine the most toxic Bioinsektisidainsecticides against mortality and LT50 larvae of S. litura. This research was carried out at the Entomology Laboratory of the Plant Pests and Diseases Department, Plant Protection Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University from August to December 2019. This experiment used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) using 3 treatments with 3 replications and used 25 S. litura second instar tails for each test. The experimental results showed that the mortality of S. litura larvae tested by Bioinsektisidainsecticide applied with 0 watt UV light exposure (without exposure) with MSwTp3 code was the isolate code with the highest S.litura larvae mortality. This can be caused by conidia that have not died contained in Bioinsektisidainsecticides, so they can optimally attack the larvae. Then, the experimental results also showed the highest LT50 values were found in Bioinsektisidainsecticides with MSwTp3 isolate code with 0 watt exposure power treatment (without irradiation). This proves that Bioinsektisidainsecticide without exposure is the best toxicity. Symptoms caused by S. litura larvae when attacked are the body size of the larvae shrinking and contracting and there is a change in the color of S.litura larvae. Insect deaths began to be discovered after observation 24 hours after application and continue to increase until observation is complete. So, in this study it can be concluded that Bioinsektisidainsecticide with MSwTp3 0 watt code (without UV exposure) is the most toxic and effective Bioinsektisidainsecticide in killing S. litura larvae.
