Abstract

This title of the study is entitled The Management of the Unit Rubbish Bank in Pasar Dua in developing the creativity of the community through the usage of second-hand goods at Kelurahan Pasar Dua Kecamatan Prabumulih Utara. This study aimed at educating the value of the environment, cultivating the moral environment in order not to litter, reducing waste which was often littering and was expected to be more concerned about the surrounding environment while producing creative communities at the community level. This research used a qualitative approach method in which a social situation in this research was the process of managing the rubbish bank united independently in developing community creativity through the usage of second-hand goods. The site of this study was kelurahan Pasar Dua, Kecamatan Prabumulih, Kota Prabumulih. Then the main actor is the community of rubbish bank of Pasar Dua Mandiri. Developing community creativity through the usage of second-hand goods as researched activities samples were obtained using purposive sampling technique with seven informants. The data of this study were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The data were analyzed through data reduction and data presentation. The presentation of the conclusions from the results of the interview analysis found that the management of the unit's rubbish bank in Pasar Dua Mandiri has three stages namely input, process, and output.
