Abstract

The research intend to determine the level of Tolerance among Religious Communities of Kelurahan Pasar Lama, Lahat Regency, South Sumatra. The population in this research were all the people of Kelurahan Pasar Lama, Lahat Regency, South Sumatra that have religious with 5468 people populations. The sample in this research used nonprobability sampling is quota sampling with 135 people sampling. Furthermore, data collected technique used in this research was documentations technique and questionnaire. Based on research result can concluded the Tolerance among Religious Communities of Kelurahan Pasar Lama, Lahat Regency, South Sumatra was obtain 88,3 % that categories means “High”, with four indicators are: First, develop an attitude of respect each other and cooperation between of different religions with adherents to God Almighty (91%), Second, develop harmony among fellow religious communities (87%), Third, respect each other for freedom of worship according to religion and belief get also (87 %), Fourth, not pressure a religion and belief on others people (88%).
