Abstract

This research was conducted in the Village of Pebuar and Surrounding the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands which is part of the Sundanese islands exposure zone using field observations and laboratory analysis. This activity was carried out to determine the geological conditions and heavy metal content of groundwater in the village using surface data obtained from descriptions of rock outcrops, surface groundwater, microscopic observations, and chemical analysis of groundwater. The geology of the study area has geomorphological landforms in the form of lowlands with flat slopes and low hills with slightly sloping slopes - very steep which have subdendritic and subparallel river flow patterns. While lithology conditions are divided into several rock units including the Pemali Complex Slate unit, the Diabas Penyabung unit, the Tanjunggenting Formation Sandstone unit, and the Klabat Granite unit with the geological structure in the study area consisting of the northwestern southeastern southeastern fault. The geological events responsible for the current geological conditions are contained in the Perem - Resen event which is the geological history of the study area. The results of chemical analysis observations such as Fe, Mn, Zn, Pb, Cd, Ph and dissolved solids in groundwater show that LP 2 is polluted due to Fe abundance due to rock weathering, while LP 3 is polluted due to tin mining activities, with an abundance of Cd pollution in that location.
