Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Policy on Foreign Residents 'Limited Stay Permits in the Palembang Class I Immigration Office in 2018. The Implementation of Foreign Residents' Limited Stay Permits in the Palembang Class I Immigration Office in 2018, there are still Foreign Citizens who violate the implementation procedures, one of which is, do not attach a Certificate of Domicile. This type of research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive forms. Data collection techniques used were direct interviews and documentation studies. Results of research from Foreign Residents' Limited Stay Permits at the Palembang Class I Immigration office. The Compliance Level dimension is still not going well. The dimensions of the smoothness of the routine are not going well yet. The dimensions of impact and performance have not been going well. Efforts made by the Palembang Class I Immigration Office against the implementation of a Limited Stay Permit for Foreign Citizens are to provide stricter sanctions against those who violate the rules of Limited Stay Permits, Foreign Citizens wishing to apply for a Limited Stay Permit must be based on Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 In 2013, articles 141 and 142 and the Palemabang Class I Immigration Office further increased the professionalism in the performance of Limited Stay Permits.
