Abstract

Computer Vision Syndrome is also referred to as digital eye strain, which is a group of diseases of the eye and vision-related problems. CIMB Niaga has several units, one of which is the telemarketing unit. The telemarketing unit works 10 hours a day for 6 working days. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence CVS complaints in workers in the telemarketing department. This thesis uses quantitative research using a cross sectional study design. Measurement tools used include the lux meter and the snellen chart.The results of the research paper is to show that : Factors Affecting The Complaint Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) On Workers At The Computer Users Telemarketing CIMB Niaga 2019 : ( 1) A total of 41 the workers (77.4%) users computers in parts of telemarketing CIMB Niaga experiencing complaint computer vision syndrome ; (2) Description of factors environment working on workers' users computer section of telemarketing CIMB Niaga , which is 62.3% table work has a level of illumination that is not standard (<315 lux or > 385 lux) ; and (3) The description of work equipment factors in computer user workers in the CIMB Niaga telemarketing section , which is 75.5% of workers working with monitor distances that are not ideal (<50 cm) .Based on the case mentioned above , the report recommends : (1) Improve the lighting levels are still below standard so that workers do not have complaints of computer vision syndrome . Efforts that can be done is by way of raising the wattage in the lights , set the layout desk work and lamps that produce light that is optimal, and take advantage of lighting experience and dimaksim alkane with lighting artificial ; (2) Do not work with a range that is too close or at a distance that is too far away and (3) research this can be made as a reference for further research is necessary to study intensively and comprehensively on complaints of computer vision syndrome.
