Abstract

This research aims to assess how effective the use of School Operational Assistance funds in Palembang Methodist 1 High School in 2017. It was stated in the background that the problem was that the use of School Operational Assistance funds in Palembang Methodist 1 High School had not been effective. This type of research in this thesis is descriptive research, which uses qualitative research methods. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data, while data collection techniques are carried out through documentation, interviews and observation. The results showed that the effectiveness of the use of School Operational Assistance funds in SMA Methodist 1 Palembang in 2017 was not effective. This is because there are still school infrastructure that has been damaged and poorly maintained. The School Operational Assistance Team at Palembang Methodist High School 1 also did not have a report on the design of the school activities program. Then the school coordination with the committee did not work. If seen from the manifestation of the program being implemented by the school, it is already good, but there are several programs that have not been realized properly.
