Abstract

Menopausal it’s isn’t a Desease but a future Biological Condition that every women will experience. Menopausal is the last period that happen when control hormones of their menstruation are in very low levels , so it isn’t possible for menstruation to occur. There is a negative change in menopausal women. Changes that occur in menopausal women are caused by a lack of the hormones estrogen and progesterone in their bodyEvery change that is experienced by women will affect the self-concept that is owned by the woman where self-concept is an important aspect in a person, and is a frame of reference in interacting with their environment.This study uses a cross-sectional research design. The samples of this study are menopausal woman in district of East Baturaja as many as 51 people. The bivariate analysis using Chi SquareThe Result of Bivariates analysis showed that was a significant relationshio between Self Concept and Quality of Life (p-value 0,00);Pr= 3,403) and that was no relation betweet self concept with the other variabels which is Menopausal Aged (p-value= 0,647), education (0,647)Job (0,403) income (0,069), and how long menopause (0.118) The Result of this study It is expected that health agencies can provide guidance and guidance of self-concept to women in preparation for the menopause so that when facing menopause women are able to have high Quality of Life.
