Abstract

This study is entitled "Women's Participation in the Development of Lake Teloko Tourism Objects in Tanjung Serang Kayu Agung Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency". The problem in this study is how women's participation in the development of Lake Teloko attractions in Tanjung Serang Kayu Agung Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This study aims to analyze the participation of women in the construction of attractions. To analyze these problems using the Mardikanto concept. The method used in this study is qualitative with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and documentation. The location of this research was conducted in Tanjung Serang Kayu Agung Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The results of this study indicate that there are 4 (four) women's participation, namely participation in planning, participation in implementation, participation in the utilization of development outcomes and participation in development evaluation. Participation in planning includes the participation of village women in meetings for development planning by contributing ideas in the form of suggestions for development. Participation in the implementation in the form of labor includes voluntary work assisting artisans such as lifting sand and gravel. Participation in the utilization of development results in the form of labor by opening food stalls. And Participation in evaluations can be realized in the form of community participation in assessing and overseeing development activities as well as the results that are realized with criticism and suggestions. These criticisms and suggestions were given to village officials and managers of Lake Teloko. Keywords: Women's Participation, Development, Tourism Objects
