Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh umur, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, pendapatan, jumlah saudara terhadap kesempatan kerja pekerja remaja pada sektor informal di kota Palembang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis regresi logistik binomial terhadap variabel independen. Ruang lingkup penelitian ini adalah remaja yang bekerja <8 jam dan ≥8 jam pada sektor informal. Variabel-variabel yang secara signifikan terhadap probabilitas kesempatan kerja adalah, variabel jenis kelamin dan variabel pendapatan. Sedangkan variabel-variabel yang mempengaruhi secara tidak signifikan antara lain; umur, tingkat pendidikan, dan jumlah anggota keluarga.
