Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat kedisiplinan belajar siswa kelas VII ditinjau dari latar belakang ekonomi keluarga di SMP Negeri 10 Palembang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII berjumlah 352 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 32 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah angket disiplin belajar dengan menggunakan skala pengukuran model Likert. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil analisis data dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwatingkat kedisiplinan belajar siswa ekonomi keluarga tinggi memiliki persentase 67% (sedang), selanjutnya tingkat kedisiplinan belajar siswa ekonomi keluarga sedang memiliki persentase 70% (sedang), dan tingkat kedisiplinan belajar siswa ekonomi keluarga rendah memiliki persentase 71% (sedang). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan diketahui bahwa tingkat kedisiplinan belajar siswa kelas VII tidak berkaitan dengan latar belakang ekonomi keluarga di SMP Negeri 10 Palembang.
