Abstract

Democracy party 2019-2024 period for presidential election will be held on 17 April 2019. Some media participating to be political campaign media. Refer to media ownership by party members so appear doubts over independence and objectivity news that produced. For example the chairman of Nasional Democracy party, Surya Paloh who also has several news and broadcast companies such as Metro TV and Mediaindonesia.com. Now, he included in the list of coalition for winning presidential election for a candidate the president and vice president number 01, Joko Widodo and Ma'ruf Amin. Through this involvement, researcher wants to see if this media that he led free from partiality and subjectivity content so that it can be trusted as a reference media election. In this research, researcher used the theory of construction political realities and technique of analysis framing. This research uses the descriptive-qualitative method with the object research is the articles who has published in the Editorial rubric Mediaindonesia.com on 15 September 2018 till 22 Januari 2019 with #Pilpres2019. By the research, it is found that construction reality is built on every article by famed elements certain like an opinion, thematic, and rhetorical.
