Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of mortgage and auction at the Branch Office Pegadaian Muara Enim. The findings generated in this study are: I.) Frequently occur concurrently job in the implementation of operational activities of the company, 2.) A lot of customers who complain when things are due to be auctioned digadainya new socialization given at the time of payment expires, 3.) Often there are difficulties if the gold auctioned mortgaged goods if the customer is in the form of gold, 4.) Pegadaian Employees sometimes make mistakes in estimating the pawning goods are over estimated, 5.) Many items are not sold gold reserve during the auction conducted, 6.) More Branch Service Unit (UPC), Muara Enim Pegadaian, which was opened, but not followed up with the increase in customers who come to the UPC, 7.) Increased turnover does not match the target, where the realization of the increase in turnover is smaller than the target increase. Therefore, to achieve efficient and effective writer gives several recommendations, among others, employee recruitment, socialization to the community, page Top internet facilities to support information access, and there is openness about the percentage of the loan, interest and capital leases in order to promote the benefits of increased turnover Pegadaian.
