Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of PDEODE (Predict-Discuss-Explain-Observe-Discuss-Explain) learning strategies on learning outcomes in class VIII cognitive, affective and psychomotor in respiratory system material. The method used is Quasi Experimental with the research design of Nonequivalent Control Group. Determination of the sample using Simple Random Sampling, with research samples VIII 7 as experimental class and VIII 8 as control class. Cognitive data collection techniques were carried out with tests in the form of 20 multiple choice questions, while affective and psychomotor data used observation sheets. Based on the data analysis application of the PDEODE learning strategy has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains of class VIII in Junior High School number 1 Palembang.
