Abstract

This study aims to determined the Implementation of Environmental Awareness Values for Class VIII Students at SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya. The population in this study amounted to 221 students, the study sampling technique chosen was non-probability sampling, and data collection techniques in this study were documentation and questionnaires. The results of the data analysis and discussion of the results of the questionnaire were adjusted to the four indicators that researchers used with 15 item questions, then obtained the average number of scores of the four indicators. The first indicator of knowledge about environmental issues with an average of 91.88%, the second ability to act on environmental issues with an average of 89.17%, the third knowledge of the environment with an average of 88.18%, and fourth environmental awareness with an average of 85.52%. Then the research can conclude that the Implementation of Environmental Awareness Values for Class VIII Students in Indralaya 1 Junior High School is positive with an overall average score of 88.69%. Previously it was determined that a score> 62.5% was a criterion for a positive perception level and vice versa <62.5% was a criterion for a negative perception level.
