Abstract

Badan Amil Zakat Nasional Provinsi Sumatera Selatan is a non-structural government agency that manages zakat in South Sumatra Province. In order to simplify its operational activities, BAZNAS South Sumatra Province has a system known as the BAZNAS Management Information System (SIMBA) which stores various important assets in the form of zakat / infaq receipt data, zakat distribution data, asset data, planning data and financial management data. Because the BAZNAS Management Information System stores various data and information that are important assets of the company and there is no operational standard (SOP) for the management of special information security, it is necessary to conduct a security audit of the BAZNAS management information system to determine the extent of the security capabilities of the system using the COBIT framework 5. The results of the study resulted in 5 IT processes that became the focus of the audit consisting of EDM03 Ensuring Risk Optimization, APO12 Managing Risk, APO13 Managing Security, BAI06 Managing Change, and DSS05 Managing Security Services. From the five assessed processes, overall the current capability level (as is) is obtained at 2.0 and the expected capability level (to be) is 4.2. Because there is no process that is able to reach the level expected, the improvement recommendations given are up 1 level from achieving the current level (as is) in order to reach the expected level (to be).
