Abstract
Indonesia has a very high rate of work accidents, especially wildfire. The evacuation process in the fire must be performed effectively and fast. The source of fire must be found quickly to prevent from spreading. A robot can be utilized to find and extingusih the fire easier. Therefore, a system to find the fastest and shortest path is needed to be planted in the robots in order to make the robot performs ots mission in a short time. This problem can be solved by embedding the A* algorithm in the robot. A* algorithm is one of the artificial intelligences for finding the fastest path. However, not many works have applied this algorithm at the wheel robots. Hence, this study will use A* method for finding the fastest path to find the fire. The result shows that the proposed system has a good accuracy to find the best distance and route with the coordinate system. The system has 100% accuracy to find the fire, 83.33% accuracy for putting out the fire, and 50% accuracy for the other mission to return to the starting point of robots.
