Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri pictorial riddle terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa materi momentum dan impuls di kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental dengan desain penelitian one group pre-test post-test design dengan sampel penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA yang berjumlah 29 orang. Proses pembelajaran di kelas X IPA menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri pictorial riddle materi momentum dan impuls. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes esai sebanyak 10 soal. Dari hasil penelitian didapat rata-rata pre-test sebesar 31,17. Setelah perlakuan, hasil rata-rata post-test sebesar 73,71. Nilai rata-rata post-test lebih tinggi dari nilai rata-rata pre-test, hal ini dapat dilihat bahwa kelas X IPA mengalami peningkatan pada hasil belajarnya dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,62 yang termasuk kedalam kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik mengunakan Paired sample t test dapat diketahui bahwa nilai signifikansinya adalah 0,000 karena signifikansi yaitu 0,000 < 0,05 dan hasil uji t -thitung> -ttabel maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan rata-rata kemampuan berfikir kritis peserta didik dengan mengggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri pictorial riddle. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ada pengaruh model pembelajaran pictorial riddle terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika di kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara.
