Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman konsep mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Sriwijaya pada materi listrik magnet pokok bahasan kemagnetan dan untuk mengetahui apa saja penyebab miskonsepsi yang dialami mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Sriwijaya pada materi listrik magnet pokok bahasan kemagnetan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Peneliti akan memaparkan data dan menganalisis data sehingga dapat mengetahui gambaran pemahaman konsep mahasiswa dan dapat mengetahui penyebab miskonsepsi yang dialami mahasiswa. Persentase pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pada materi Listrik Magnet untuk kategori paham konsep sebesar 16,25%, paham konsep tetapi tidak yakin sebesar 7%, miskonsepsi sebesar 51,26% dan tidak paham konsep sebesar 25,49%. Penyebab miskonsepsi yang dialami mahasiswa pendidikan fisika universitas sriwijaya pada materi listrik magnet adalah buku, bahan ajar, media pembelajaran dan model pembelajaran. Kata kunci: pemahaman konsep, miskonsepsi, listrik magnet, kemagnetan
