Abstract

This study aimed to describe the self-efficacy of students who experienced smartphone addiction. The study used a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. 198 students from year 7 and 9 were selected as the sample using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert scale for smartphone addiction and self-efficacy. The level of smartphone addiction of students in SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Selatan fell into the medium dominant category and the self-efficacy of students who experience smartphone were moderate. Self-efficacy students experience addiction in SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Selatan on average have medium category self-efficacy and experience smartphone category addiction medium.
