Abstract

This study aimed to find out the effect of employee, goods and capital on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in districts/cities of South Sumatra province in 2016-2018. The data used in the study were secondary data obtained from the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPbN) of South Sumatra province and Badan Pusat Statistik (Agency of Statistical Center) of South Sumatra. This study uses panel data analysis techniques. The panel data model used the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results showed that Employee and Goods Expenditure had a positive and significant effect on GRDP districts/cities. Then, employee and goods expenditures have a significant and positive effect on the GRDP of South Sumatra province. Meanwhile, the capital expenditure had a negative and insignificant effect on district/city GRDP of all districts/cities South Sumatra province . Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R2) value is 0.9972 mean that the variable variation was equal to 99.72% in the districts/cities of South Sumatra province explained by employee, goods, and capital expenditure. The rest 0.28% can be explained by other factors.
