Abstract
Patients with chronic renal failure (CRF) on hemodialysis will experience of fatigue. Need for proper management of pain can prevent a decrease in the quality of life of patients, including by giving breathing exercises that can help reduce the level of fatigue in hemodialysis patients. To describe nursing care in chronic renal failure patients who test hemodialysis with a focus on implementing breathing exercises according to edvidance based therapy. The Methode using qualitative descriptive methods using case studies. The results of three patients obtained the same complaint, namely fatigue, two patients had anxiety and one patient complained of pain. Nursing problems analyzed were fatigue, anxiety and acute pain. Nursing interventions take the form of energy management, anxiety reduction, and pain management. Implementation of nursing is done independently, interdependently and collaboratively. Nursing evaluation showed that fatigue and anxiety were partially resolved and acute pain was completely resolved. Breathing exercise will maximize the amount of oxygen that enters and is supplied to all tissues so that the body can produce energy and reduce the level of fatigue. Comfortable environment and low stimulus also affect patient fatigue. A noisy inpatient room, the temperature is too hot, lack of lighting, cleanliness and neatness are not maintained will increase stress in patients. Patterns and hours of sleep can also affect the level of fatigue In patients who experience sleep disorders have a bad impact on someone because it will affect activity during the day due to decreased stamina. Breathing exercise in addition to reducing fatigue, can also improve sleep quality, reduce anxiety and reduce pain in patients with chronic renal failure. The three CRF patients on hemodialysis were given nursing care starting from the assessment, enforcement of nursing diagnoses, planning, implementation to nursing evaluation. The implications of breathing exercise show the results of a decrease in fatigue levels in all three patients, namely from the moderate to mild and moderate levels
