Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Peranan Humas dalam Membangun Citra Pemerintah (Studi Humas Pemerintah Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan data yang diperoleh dari dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara mendalam, serta melalui metode literatur buku dan jurnal yang ada dan terkait dengan penelitian ini. Hasil skripsi ini menunjukan bahwa humas Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan sangat berperan dalam membentuk dan menjaga citra Provinsi Sumatera Selatan karena peranan yang dilakukan humas mempengaruhi opini masyarakat dan meningkatkan citra positif Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Melalui dasar pengetahuan, pengharapan bersama, hingga budaya organisasi jika dijalankan dengan baik secara keseluruhan akan melahirkan peranan humas yang ideal sehingga terciptanya citra positif Pemerintah Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan secara utuh.
