Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the growth and production of some rice varieties that are tolerant to drought stress in the generative phase. The study was conducted at the Agrotech Training Center (ATC) Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijawa University in April to July 2019. The study used 14 rice varieties namely Inpago Unsoed 1, Inpago 4, Inpago 5, Inpago 8, Inpago 9, Inpago 10, Inpago 12, Rindang 1, Rindang 2, Situ Patengang, Inpara 8, Inpara 9, Towuti and Batu Tegi. This study uses a split plot design, parameters observed include plant height, number of tillers, number of panicle panes, number of panicle grain, number of piles of grain, weight of panicle grain, weight of pile of grain, weight of grain filled with pan, grain weight , 1000 grain weight of grain, percentage of empty grain, flowering age, proportion of dry weight of plants, dry weight of stover and harvest age. Analysis of diversity using the Annova test and followed by a 5% LSD test. Of the 14 rice varieties that have been tested, the order of varieties that are more tolerant of drought stress in the generative phase are Inpago 5, Inpago Unsoed 1, Inpara 8, Inpago 12, Inpago 9, Inpago 8, Situ Patenggang, Inpago 4, Inpago 10, Inpara 1 9, Towuti, Batu Tegi, Rindang 1, Rindang 2.
