Abstract

Climate change has a huge impact for the whole sector of human life, one of its effects namely global warming. Global warming exacerbates flood resulting from rising sea levels. Research on designing one of the forms of adaptation in the form of construction in the face of the danger of flooding called amphibious house. Amphibious house is a form of innovation from the stage house capable of adjusting the height of the water with the help of pontoon floats way so that the floor of the house free of any flood waters as high as the marinade is happening. Making amphibious houses accented by modeling on this type of pontoon, aluminum beams pontoon form as well as pontoon draft strengths and how to withstand the load of the house in a balanced. Using a 1:10 scale refers to the house of one floor type 36 which use material in the form of wood. The Foundation uses the footprint foundation. The addition of the load also performed with variations in load maximum of 6 kg, which generates 109,4655 N of buoyancy with a total load of 97,3152 N where measurable draft of 7 cm and a theoretical draft of 6,223 cm. Dissemination of the questionnaire in the area subdistrict of Ilir Timur 1, Kalidoni, and Sako also performed to analyse the response of the community towards the amphibious house. As many as 32 respodents or 78% of interest to buy a amphibious house when will be applied. For the price range as much as 21 respondents or 51,2% of expect amphibious house range between 100 – 300 million.
