Abstract

This study is entitled Implementation of Education Implementation Policies in the Special Development Institution for Class I Children of the City of Palembang. The education policy program is a program that aims to provide educational services for andikpas at the Palembang First Class Special Child Development Institute. The purpose of this study was to find out how the Implementation of Education Implementation Policy in the Special Development Institution for Class I Children in Palembang This type of research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques namely documentation, interviews and observation. This study uses Charles Van Meter & Carl Van Horn's implementation theory which has 6 (six) dimensions, namely: Policy Standards and Objectives, Resources, Implementing Agency Characteristics, Actors of Implementers, Inter-Organizational Communication, and Economic, Social and Political Costs. Based on the analysis and research in the field, it can be concluded that the Implementation of the Education Implementation Policy at the Palembang Class I Child Special Development Institution has been running quite well, but there are still weaknesses, this is evidenced by the inadequate facilities and infrastructure and the absence of meetings between the collaborating parties education implementation program at the Palembang Special Class I Child Development Institute. The suggestion that I can give is the Head of LPKA and related parties should have a meeting agenda to evaluate school education in LPKA Class I Palembang City. Palembang.
