Abstract

Art and Culture of the Balinese people produce various types of handicrafts that are in great demand by foreign tourists. The most sought-after artwork by foreign tourists is wood-based artwork such as wooden statues. The high interest of foreign tourists for wooden sculptures can be seen from the increasing number of export of Balinese wooden statues abroad which reached 5.03 million dollars. GaleriPatungKayu is a commercial gallery that aims to facilitate the marketing, sale and purchase of wood carvings. The application of the basic concept of design leads to the basic concept of Balinese architecture with the style of Balinese (non traditional) architecture that is Still Bali type where Balinese decorative elements dominate the entire facade of the building.
