Abstract

The problem in this research is the background of the students who consume cigarettes, but cigarettes are the basis for female students to make further deviations. This research aims to find out the daily lifestyle of smokers and to find out the background that makes students consume cigarettes in Palembang Sriwijaya University environment. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to describe the lifestyle of female smokers. Determination of informants in this study using the procedure of snowball technique which amounted to 9 people. Data collection techniques using observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of this study are looking at the lifestyle appearance of smokers and finding out the background of female students who consume cigarettes. Keywords : Lifestyle. Student smoker.
