Abstract

Cutting Stock Problem (CSP) is a cutting problem to optimize stocks with certain cutting patterns. This research implemented N-Sheet model in Capacitated Multi Period Cutting Stock Problem with pattern set up cost. This study used secunder data where the rectangular stocks are cut to a variety of order sizes. Pattern Generation algorithm (PG) used to determine the optimal cutting patterns. Based on the result, the PG produced 21 optimal patterns based on length and 23 optimal patterns based on width to fulfill custumer requirement. And then, patterns are implemented to N-Sheet model. The optimal solution from N-Sheet model in this research were 6 cutting patterns. The 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 19th patterns are cut based on length, and the 4th and 23th patterns are cut based width.
