Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai pengelolaan laboratorium biologi di SMA Kota Palembang berdasarkan Permendiknas Nomor 26 Tahun 2008. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 11 SMA Negeri Kota Palembang berakreditasi A yang memiliki kepala laboratorium dan laboran. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui koesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualifikasi ketenagaan pengelola laboratorium belum sesuai standar. Komponen pengelolaan program dan administrasi dikategorikan cukup dengan persentase sebesar 45%. Komponen pengorganisasian guru dan laboran dikategorikan sangat kurang dengan persentase sebesar 19%. Komponen pemantauan dan evaluasi dikategorikan sangat kurang dengan persentase 16%. Komponen pelaksanaan dikategorikan cukup dengan persentase 60%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan laboratorium di SMA Kota Palembang termasuk dalam kategori kurang dengan persentase 35%. ABSTRACT This study aimed to obtain information about the management of biology laboratory at Senior High School of Palembang based on Permendiknas Number 26 Year 2008. This research used descriptive method. The research sample determined by the purposive sampling technique. The sample of this research is 11 Senior High School of Palembang with A accreditation which had laboratory and laboratory assistant. This study used questionnaires, interview, and documentation as the data collection technique. The result showed that management laboratory qualifications do not meet the standards. Then the component of program management and administration was categorized as sufficient with a percentage of 45%. The component of organizing teachers and laboratory assistants was categorized as very poor with a percentage of 19%. The component of monitoring and evaluation was categorized as very poor with a percentage of 16%. The component of implementation was categorized as sufficient with a percentage of 60%. Based on the result, it can be concluded that the management of the laboratory at Senior High School of Palembang included was less categorized with a percentage of 35%.
