Abstract

NEW STUDENT ADMISSION INFORMATION SYSTEM BASED ON WEB MOBILE. A web-based admission information system has been implemented by several universities in Indonesia. But the problem is that there are still many prospective students who find it difficult with the system because there is no online registration payment confirmation feature. Then the next problem is that not all prospective students have a computer connected to the internet, so a WEB MOBILE-based system needs to be implemented so that prospective students can also access the system via mobile phones. The research method used in this research is system development, which is an experiment to design a web-based new student acceptance information system that can be accessed through a web browser and also based on WEB MOBILE which can be accessed via mobile phones. This new student admission information system is built with the PHP programming language, HTML tags and WML tags, and utilizes the MySQL database as a database server.
