Abstract

Barium hexaferrite (BaFe12O19) and Neodymium Feron Boron (NdFeB) hybrid bonded magnets were made with 3% Polivynil Alcohol (PVA) adhesive as part of the total mass. Material is printed using a hydraulic press with a force of 4 tons for 1 minute, then heated with an oven at 110 ° C for 1 hour. Characterization carried out were sample density, magnetic flux, VSM, SEM and material corrosion. The characterization results show that the density value increases with increasing NdFeB composition. The optimum magnetic properties were obtained in the composition of 2: 1 material which is 391 G. From the hysteresis curve the optimum conditions were found in composition 3: 1 with coercivity of 1,406 KOe, saturation of 20,174 KOe, and production energy (BHmax) 0.005452 MGOe. In the corrosion test of materials, the most stable condition is found in the composition of the material 100% BaFe12O19.
