Abstract
Pabrik Maleat anhidrat direncanakan berlokasi di daerah Kota Bontang, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur, Indonesia. Pabrik ini meliputi area seluas 5 Ha dengan kapasitas 70.000 ton per tahun. Proses pembuatan Maleat anhidrat dilakukan dengan mereaksikan butana dan oksigen dengan bantuan katalis Vanadium Phosphorous Oxide (VPO) yang berlangsung secara eksotermis di reaktor tipe Fixed bed Multitubular Reactor pada temperatur 390oC dan tekanan 2 atm dengan reaksi sebagai berikut: C4H10 + 3,5 O2 C4H2O3 + 4 H2O C4H10 + 4,5 O2 4 CO2 + 5 H2O C4H10 + 6,5 O2 4 CO + 5 H2O C3H8 + 3.5 O2 3 CO + 4 H2O Setelah melalui tahap separasi dan purifikasi, dilakukan tahap pembutiran sehingga diperoleh maleat anhidrat dalam bentuk padat dengan kemurnian 99,50%wt. Pabrik ini merupakan perusahaan yang berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi line and staff, yang dipimpin oleh seorang Direktur Utama dengan jumlah karyawan 170 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, pabrik Maleat anhidrat dinyatakan layak untuk didirikan dengan analisa ekonomi sebagai berikut: 1) Investasi = US $ 108.877.095,50 2) Hasil penjualan per tahun = US $ 125.056.709,18 3) Biaya produksi per tahun = US $ 69.720.822,77 4) Laba bersih per tahun = US $ 35.968.326,17 5) Pay Out Time = 2,22 tahun 6) Rate of Return on Investment = 33,04% 7) Discounted Cash Flow = 58,50% 8) Break Even Point = 33,77% 9) Service Life = 11 tahun
