Abstract

PT Bukit Asam Tbk is a State Owned Enterprise (BUMN) that is engaged in coal mining activities. The location of this research was carried out at Pit 3 East in the Electrification Mining Work Unit. The mining system that is carried out in East Pit 3 is Shovel and Truck. The annual production target in the Bank of West Banko West is 13,800,000 BCM in 2019. In the month of January 2020, the production of overburden stripping is 736,352.89 BCM from the target of 1,000,000 BCM while in February February 2012 the production of overburden stripping is 326,970,62 BC from 1,000,000 BC. From these 2 (two) months, it is known that the monthly overburden stripping production target in Pit 3 Timur Banko Barat is not achieved. The objective of this research is to evaluate the geometry of the haul road to the productivity of the overburden stripping conveyance. The method used is by taking the primary and secondary data from the secondary productivity of the digging tool and the transport means so that the factors known to cause the overburden stripping are not produced. The haul road geometry at Pit 3 East Banko Barat does not meet the standards. The width of the standard haul road in straight conditions is 24.5 m and in bend conditions is 26.32 m. The standard road grade is 8%. Standard cross slope is between 24.5 cm and 49 cm. standard superelevation is 0.1 m / m with a height difference of 2.65 m. After an effort to improve the haul road geometry according to the standard, the estimated production of overburden stripping in 2019 is 14,215,647.22 BCM.
