Abstract

Kegiatan penambangan batubara PT Bukit Asam, Tbk memiliki salah satu kegiatan pengupasan tanah penutup (overburden). Kegiatan penambangan di Pit 2 Banko Barat belum efisien dikarenakan terdapatnya boulders hasil peledakan yang mengakibatkan alat gali muat PC 3000 tidak optimal sehingga diperlukan peledakan menggunakan air deck dan non-air deck. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui geometri peledakan, penggunaan handak, powder factor¸fragmentasi hasil peledakan, pengaruh geometri peledakan terhadap fragmentasi hasil peledakan air deck dan non-air deck, dan pengaruh fragmentasi terhadap produktivitas PC 3000. Geometri peledakan air deck di Pit 2 yaitu burden 6,90 meter, spasi 7,21 meter, kedalaman lubang 6,78 meter, kolom isian 2,13 meter, stemming 3,65 meter, jumlah ANFO 2629,06 kg, dan powder factor 0,15 kg/BCM, sedangkan non-air deck yaitu burden 6,92 meter, spasi 7,92 meter, kedalaman lubang 6,38 meter, kolom isian 1,86 meter, stemming 4,3 meter, jumlah ANFO 2055,45 kg, dan powder factor 0,13 kg/BCM. Hasil fragmentasi peledakan diolah menggunakan Split Desktop, didapatkan rata-rata boulders (fragmentasi >100 cm) 2,32% sedangkan non-air deck didapatkan rata-rata boulders (fragmentasi >100 cm) 3,54% dapat dikatakan fragmentasi air deck cukup baik. Rata-rata cycle time PC 3000 menggunakan air deck 35,81 detik sedangkan non-air deck 39,21 detik. Produktivitas PC 3000 air deck 888,91 BCM/jam sedangkan non-air deck 811,82 BCM/jam.
