Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan stirena dari proses dehidrogenasi etilbenzena dengan kapasitas 125.000 ton/tahun direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2024 di Kota Cilegon, Provinsi Banten yang diperkirakan memiliki luas area sebesar 3,6 Ha. Proses pembuatan stirena dengan jenis reaktor fixed bed yang disusun secara parallel dan seri dengan katalis Iron Oxide. Kondisi operasi pembuatan stirena adalah 615,6°C dengan tekanan 0,54-0,61 atm. Reaksi yang terjadi sebagai berikut: C6H5CH2CH3(g) C6H5CH=CH2(g) + H2(g) … (1) Etilbenzena Stirena Hidrogen C6H5CH2CH3(g) C6H6(g) + C2H4(g) … (2) Etilbenzena Benzena Etilena C6H5CH2CH3(g) + H2(g) C6H5CH3(g) + CH4(g) … (3) Etilbenzena Hidrogen Toluena Metana Pabrik pembuatan stirena ini berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) yang pimpinannya adalah Direktur. Sistem organisasi perusahaan ini adalah line and staff dengan jumlah karyawan sebanyak 213 orang. Hasil analisa ekonomi Pra Rencana Pabrik Pembuatan Stirena adalah sebagai berikut: • Total Capital Investment = US $ 67.992.697,71 • Selling Price per Year = US $ 292.369.921,03 • Total Production Cost = US $ 93.212.802,34 • Annual Cash Flow = US $ 46.463.408,93 • Pay Out time = 2,02 tahun • Rate of Return = 43,48 % • Discounted Cash Flow = 48,78 % • Break Even Point = 36,01 % • Service Life = 11 tahun Kata Kunci : Stirena, Analisa Ekonomi, Pabrik, Spesifikasi Peralatan
